sorry!

I have been saying that my Blog Spot is in the rough draft stage for too long now. There are two main reasons why: 1) I am not computer literate and it takes me a long time to figure out what I am doing and I don't have that amount of time 2) My sister-in-law Stephanie was supposed to come over and help me update my blog but where is she? Who knows, probably at the hospital where she works. Thanks Steph.

But I do want to let everyone know (all 3 of you) that I am well and happy. That is because I am supported by the most awesomest friends that anyone could have. And a very wonderful Heavenly Father who blesses me so much. I hopefully will have some pictures to follow. October was super busy with tons of fun activities and November has been busy and fun too. Of course I have to say that my favorite thing of all is my trips down to Orem to visit all of my amazing females and their male companions. My trips have included: a big game night with lots of laughing and friends which was muy divertido. Some people who attended this gala were: Mary & LZ Brooks, The Espinosas, Sam Robinsons, The Partridges (and their beautiful new baby girl), Scott Hunington, and some I may be forgetting; oh and of course it was hosted by the wonderful Kristina Williams. When I was over at Kristina's we had a great idea that we should have me slide down her stair case on the gigantic love sac, sounds mature enough, right. No, for future reference Love Sacs don't really slide as much as they Roll, and when you reach the top of a rolling Love Sac you have two choices, 1) Jump or 2) keep on rolling, which probably means you would be catupulted into the front door below you. I jumped and thankfully so. Then next thing I knew the Love Sac was on top of me and I could her Kristina Jr. and Shoon (Jr.'s asian friend) laughing their heads off, I was laughing too, though it was a little bit difficult because I was scrunched under a very large and very heavy love sac with limited air supply. That is just one small story of many many more. We went on a group date one night (5 of us) we snuck into a movie (that we had paid for), we had a hilarious altercation with the popcorn boy, where some popcorn was thrown (Susanne!). We watched James Bond and then afterwards I slid down the stair rail "Everyone watch out!" in an attempt to recreate the movie we had just seen. Some may read this and think that I am insane (and very immature). But to that I rebut that acting this way is ironically how I keep my sanity while my dear sweet husband is away and also to my defense I was the youngest in the group and was usually a victim of peer pressure.

My kids have been having fun as well. They get spoiled with attention down south. We also had a great experience this week as we road down on the Front Runner to Salt Lake and then took Trax to the Church Museum of Art and History. There is an awesome exhibit there for children that is titled "I am a Child of God". It walks kids through the plan of salvation with lots of interactive activities. I went with my friend Miranda and her two girls, we ate a packed lunch at the temple grounds and had a wonderful time. I would encourage everyone to attend, it is closing Jan. 18th 2009. So hurry.

Hayden's awesome Indiana Jones cake. I didn't make it but a very talented friend of mine did! And it was yummy!
